DFK International European Development & Committee
19 April 2008, a worldwide association of independent accounting firms and business advisers, DFK International, held European Development and Marketing Committee Meeting in Moscow. During the fruitful Meeting the members from the United Kingdom, Denmark, Ireland, the Netherlands, Italy, France, Germany and Russia discussed the topics relevant either to the development of services to clients or practice management issues. Doing business in Russia was one of the key matters. As a result of workshop business opportunities for clients in Russia and for Russian clients in Europe were identified. At the Meeting new cross border targeting approach was discussed and it is going to be implemented in the nearest future in the work of the Association.
A special section of the workshop was devoted to the issue of increasing DFK membership in Eastern Europe. For the purpose of the above target the most developed economic and industrial regions were identified in Russia. The parties agreed to cooperate closely for the mutual benefit of all the countries involved.
The Association is going to increase its presence in the European region and the main aim is to have representative offices in almost all regions of Russia as the Russian market is growing rather quickly and is becoming more and more attractive for investment. | | | | |
